This Ocean Unit includes 6 detailed lesson plans. All lessons are hands-on and incorporate literacy skills. Students will investigate–

- The properties of ocean water, including dissolved gases and dissolved solids
- The movement of ocean water, including waves, tides, and currents
- How ocean currents affect global temperatures and ecosystems
