• desrcibe the ways Americans supported the war effort including rationing, recycling, Victory gardens, and savings bonds
• analyze World War II propaganda and explain how propaganda was used to persuade people to perform certain jobs or buy savings bonds
• describe the contributions made by military veterans and Medal of Honor recipients
