What is included with this resource?

This resource includes 16 slides with information about mixing liquids with water, dissolving solids in water, and the effects of temperature when dissolving solids. The slides provide definitions, examples, and opportunities for discussion.

A PDF worksheet for students to complete as they go through the presentation. The worksheet allows students to create their own definitions and write examples.

The last 30 slides of the presentation are an interactive, self-checking quiz. The quiz features 10 questions about the information taught in the slideshow presentation. The slides are coded so that students can self-check their answers. If they select the incorrect answer, they can go back and try again.

The quiz is also provided in PDF format if you would like students to take the quiz with paper and pencil.

The Mixing Liquids and Dissolving Solids Presentation is provided in BOTH PowerPoint and Google Slides formats. Both versions are the same.

Can the slideshow presentations be edited?

In both the PowerPoint and Google Slides versions, most text can be edited if you want to add or change information. The images are locked and can NOT be changed.
