This Area, Perimeter, Volume Jeopardy Game includes a fun, Jeopardy-style game to review finding the area and perimeter of triangles and rectangles, and finding the volume of rectangular prisms. Versions of the review game are included for both PowerPoint and Google Slides.

## What will students review with this Area, Perimeter, Volume Jeopardy Game?

25 questions are included in a Jeopardy-style game to review and practice the following skills:

• Develop formulas for determining the area of a right triangle and the volume of a rectangular prism.
• Estimate and determine the area of a right triangle, with diagrams, when the base and the height are given in whole number units, in metric or U.S. Customary units, and record the solution with the appropriate unit of measure.
• Solve problems, including those in context, to estimate and determine the volume of a rectangular prism using concrete objects, diagrams, and formulas when the length, width, and height are given in whole number units. Record the solution with the appropriate unit of measure.
• Identify whether the application of the concept of perimeter, area, or volume is appropriate for a given situation.
• Solve contextual problems that involve perimeter, area, and volume in standard units of measure.

Each question is linked to a slide with the answer so that students can quickly and easily check their answers.

## What formats of the game are provided?

This resource includes versions of the Area, Perimeter, Volume Jeopardy Game for BOTH PowerPoint and Google Slides. The questions used with each version are the same.

## How is this area, perimeter, volume interactive game played?

The PowerPoint version of this Jeopardy-style game should be played in presentation mode. Category values disappear when they are clicked on. The category values can be reset anytime by exiting the presentation and reopening it. You can type scores onto a scoreboard while playing in presentation mode. The presentation has been coded to help you easily navigate from the category board to questions and answers without scrolling.

The Google Slides version of this Jeopardy-style review game should be played in full screen, edit mode. Instructions and a video tutorial are provided that show how this is done. You can type scores onto a scoreboard but the category values do not disappear when they are clicked on. This is a limitation of Google Slides. But, markers are provided alongside the category board that you can drag and drop over the category values after they have been used. The presentation has been coded to help you easily navigate from the category board to questions and answers without scrolling.
