- Find the greatest common factor of two or three numbers.
- Simplify fractions.
- Convert an improper fraction to a mixed number and a mixed number to an improper fraction.
- Determine the sum or difference of two fractions (proper or improper) and/or mixed numbers (having like denominators) and simplify the resulting fraction. Addition and subtraction with fractions may include regrouping.

- Apply the inverse property of multiplication in models.
- Solve single-step word problems involving addition, subtraction, and multiplication with fractions.

**When adding and subtracting fractions, denominators are limited to 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, and 12.**
