Ancient Mali Task Cards

Ancient Mali Task Cards are a no-prep, fun way to review ancient Mali’s history, culture, and geography.

Ancient Mali Task Cards includes 28 task cards, a student response worksheet, and an answer key. Questions are multiple choice, multiple select, ordering, and labeling a map.

What will students review with these task cards?

What standards are covered?

These Ancient Mali Task Cards are specifically aligned with the 2023 Virginia SOLs 3.3 and 3.8, although the task cards closely match most social studies standards related to the history, culture, and geography of ancient Mali.

Is a digital version included?

These Ancient Mali Task Cards resource includes BOTH a digital version and a PDF version. The digital version can be accessed through Google Forms and allows students to easily self-check their work. You can also use the Google Forms task cards to track student progress.

What if I want to create my own social studies task cards?

Four blank task cards are included so that you can create additional questions, if needed. For these task cards, you will print the blank cards and write your questions directly on the cards.
